Being a journalist, I am bringing you Academy Awards updates and observations throughout the evening LIVE! As they happen!
On my television…
In a surprise win, the Oscar for Best Picture went to “12 Years a Slave.” In his acceptance speech, Brad Pitt thanked the Academy and pointed out that “The best film of the year doesn’t have to be a big-budget, big star-driven movie like Gravity.” Moments later he was tragically struck by a falling chandelier.
tThat’s too bad about Brad being struck by the gravity driven chandelier- I guess that means he won’t be in the sequel – “13 Years a Slave”
Ever the star, he is rumored to already be looking into a sequel to “My Left Foot.”
There will be no going to the light this fine evening Ned. Most of us would rather live without gravity than without Brad… just so you know.
It was only a minor injury. He’ll be up and around for the sequel to Troy.
Oh. In that case, drop him again. Some things just can’t be overcome.
LOL! ๐
Ned, I’m not sure you’re appreciating the gravity of the Oscars situation! ๐
I’m afraid to even say the word “gravity.”
Yeah, this awards ceremony is pure Bullocks.
Best Oscar joke this year! There should be an award show for best Oscar jokes!
Sadly, “Gravity” would still win…
I read these all at once this morning. So live not-live. Undead. Bela Lugosi’s dead.
Why am I always the last to know these things?
If only this had actually happened, Ned…
I don’t think I could live with thee constant wailing from women around the world.
Physics is a bitch!
Lol!
The power of gravity at its best!
